Wedding #2 of the weekend was spent with Julianna and Alec! Another beautiful day with 2 awesome people. We had the whole RDP squad out here for photo and video and had the best time at The Rockleigh. A venue that we love to shoot at with so many opportunities for those amazing shots! Julz and Alec were friggen models im pretty sure cause they totally crushed it on their wedding day. I mean, see for yourself. Thank you for having us be apart of your special day!

What did you enjoy most about working with the Ralph DePiro Photography Team!?

They’re professionalism, shot ideas and sticking to schedule.  We felt like we were working with old friends and had a blast with them the whole day.

How did you meet?

The old fashioned way.. on the dating app Hinge

How did you get engaged?

We took a trip to Boston for Alec’s birthday for the Yankee/Red Sox game.  He proposed in the hotel room right before the game.

Why did you choose your venue?

The chandeliers, the food and the staff.  We wanted an elegant grand venue with really good food and an attentive staff.  The Rockleigh checked all those boxes.

Were you nervous? How did you squash the nerves?

Julianna was nervous to walk down the aisle and Alec was nervous for the first dance.  It’s corny to say but those nerves went away when we saw each other.

Tell me about your favorite wedding details, and how you came up with them?

Our monogram included everywhere.  On the menus, the dance floor, the welcome table, drink toppers, even the screens in church.  We felt it tied our wedding together as one full experience.

What was your favorite moment from your wedding day?

The last song of the night New York New York was playing and everyone on the dance floor started a kick line in a circle while we danced in the middle.  It was an unforgettable moment for us.

Did anything go wrong?

If it did everyone was nice enough to not tell us.  The only thing was the band didn’t play a specific memorable song in honor or someone.  But other than that the day was perfection.

How did you feel at the end of the day?

Exhausted but on cloud 9.  We were so grateful to be surrounded by so much love and support in such a beautiful day.

What advice would you give couples planning their wedding, right now?

Trust your gut, do your research and get things done as early as possible.
